Mr & Mrs Stickler

While the country is having a heat wave, it really helped to keep everyone’s spirits up for the wedding of Sarah and Gareth at New House Country Hotel, Cardiff. The bride and groom, only from a few miles away in Llanishen, decided to wed at one of Wales’ best places for a view on your wedding day. This gorgeous hotel boasts the whole view of Cardiff and it’s bay. The wedding was a superb occasion for everyone who attended and such a wonderful atmosphere all day as the sun kissed on us all. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Stickler!

Mr & Mrs Williams

Owen & Aimée celebrated their wedding at the beautiful wedding venue Ty Glyn in Cilau Aeron, near Aberaeron on Saturday 29th October.

From the moment I arrived I knew this was going to be a special day. Aimée was very excited and so were her bridesmaids, Sioned, Cara and Claire. It’s always a lovely moment when you walk into the room where the bridal party is and they’re happily having fun.

The happy couple organised a football themed wedding which was very well executed. The invites to the wedding were actual match tickets. I thought this was a superb idea and totally different to what you would normally find.

Owen, the groom, is a huge football fan, And specifically an avid Wales football fan who follows the national team home and abroad.

The table plan, featured the Welsh heroes from the Euro team that played out in France.

The ceremony was a beautiful occasion which was presented in both Welsh and English. A very nice touch as the majority of the guests were Welsh speaking.

As the beautiful bridesmaids walked down the aisle, Owen was eagerly anticipating seeing his bride enter the room, and upon the first sight a glowing smile came across his face and a pure shot of emotion struck him, it’s always a joy to see this special moment in the ceremony.

The speeches made for an emotional moment of the day but also filled with laughter. Owen and Aimée’s dad both gave beautiful speeches regarding their son and daughter and the best men, Gaz and Huw had people laughing from the start.

The venue, Ty Glyn, boasts some lovely views in typical Welsh fashion of hills and green scenery. It really made for some fantastic photo opportunities around the grounds of the venue. I have to say, it’s always pleasing when I get a chance to work with bride and grooms like Owen and Aimée who were so easy going to photograph all day and were happy to do anything I asked for. It really has made for some striking images.

I really hope the new Mr & Mrs Williams enjoyed their day and continue to enjoy their lives together.

Thursday 28th April, 2016, gave Welsh fans the chance to put some questions to the Wales football manager, Chris Coleman.

The evening was held at Grange Albion Sports & Social club to raise money for the charity “Gol”. You can find out more about them here Gol Charity
Hosted by Made In Cardiff TV’s Tim Hartley, fans got the chance to have an experience of what Chris Coleman is like as a manager and as a fan off the field.
He was asked questions about the upcoming Euro’s in France to which he replied “Keep dreaming”. This got everyone excited.
“If Leicester can win the premier league then why can’t we compete well in the Euro’s, anything is possible”.

Best of luck to Chris and his staff for the upcoming tournament.

Q&A With Ian Rush & Jason Mohammad

Friday 4th March, 2016 at The Village Hotel, Cardiff, was a special night to remember Adam Letman , who tragically died in 2015 at the age of 39 to cancer.

His friends and family rallied around to organise an evening with former Wales and Liverpool legend, Ian Rush. Jason Mohammad, from the BBC, was also on hand to present the night.

The night was in aid of George Thomas Hospice, who had looked after Adam in the last year of his life.

If the night was anything to go by, you can clearly see he was a very much loved character and the sell out crowd certainly made an emotional night a fantastic atmosphere.

There was also a very heartfelt speech from Rob, Charnely, who wrote an exceptional poem which really captured Adam’s true spirit of life.

If anyone would like to make a donation to the charity then please visit George Thomas Hospital

One Direction Plus McBusted For Support = Awesomeness!

Well, what more is there to say about this concert? The fact that you have arguably Britains (ok and Ireland) biggest bands under one roof it can only mean one thing right? A superb entertained evening full of chart topping hits and screaming fans!

McBusted burst onto the stage with their energetic charisma, getting the fans chanting and throwing their arms in the air…this was about to blow the A Frame off the Millenium Stadium!

Performing some of their biggest hits spanning the last decade, McBusted played the likes of Star Girl, Shine A Light and Air Hostess.

The 50,000 strong crowd at the stadium gave the band plenty of energy to feed off from! Certainly a fantastic support band, who in their own right could probably hold their own on a stadium tour.

One Direction Smash Cardiff Gig!

After the noise settled down while people got some snacks after the McBusted boys finished their set, all eyes were on the stage awaiting for One Direction to pounce!

Suddenly, the Millenium Stadium’s lights were dimmed…. The noise levels almost blew the roof off the stadium. This was for one reason only! One Direction had started their approach to the stage.

Those 4 handsome former X Factor contestants were fast approaching and burst onto the stage with screams and cheers and opened with Clouds, having the whole stadium waving their hands back and forth. The boys had officially arrived…

Steal My Girl just echoed around the stadium with glow sticks and banners being waved and the crowd showing their full support for the boys.

One thing that was for sure, the band seemed like they were enjoying themselves, especially after being in the spot light recently with Zayn Malik leaving the band. However, there was no mention of him on the night from the band, as expected, but I don’t really think that people noticed too much anyway.

Cardiff has successfully held two major nights at the stadium, as well as having the Manic Street Preachers performing in Cardiff Castle and Elton John in the Motorpoint Arena.

I think this has thrown Wales on the map once more. We are more than capable of attracting the biggest stars on the planet to our beautiful country.
