Taylor-Dee & Kris

Sunday 2nd July, 2017, saw Taylor-Dee and Kristian tie the knot at the beautiful Glen-Yr-Afon hotel in Usk.

It was a pleasure to be  able to photograph this event as I have previously worked with Taylor, and it was nice to be able to be a big part of her special day.

The connection between the bride & groom is always plain to see and some emotional words from Kris during his speech captured those feelings towards Taylor and their families.

The venue had been decorated to Taylor’s perfection! She is very creative at this type of thing and it really made this wedding personal.

Thank you so much both for using intotheheartphotography.com!

I wish you both all the best for your future

Bluebirds Forever

Saturday 1st of July, 2017, was an incredible day for two Cardiff City football fans, Mike and Bethan, who married at St Illtud Church in Llantwit Fadre before moving onto the Cardiff City Stadium for their reception.

Bethan, who had her bridal party preparations at Shabby Chic in Talbot Green, is a good friend of mine from our time over the years following Wales in football home and away. It was a pleasure to photograph Mike and Bethan’s  wedding day.

The happy couple were allowed to utilise the stadium for images on the day which really allowed us to be creative. I’d really like to thank the staff at the stadium for all their help on the day.

Mike & Bethan, I wish you a fantastic life together and many happy seasons supporting the bluebirds!

Mr & Mrs Ely

Set in the beautiful town of Warwick is a beautiful and picturesque venue called Saxon Mill. This was the perfect location for Matthew and Natasha to have their wedding after getting engaged here some few years ago.

On Saturday 24th June, 2017, I travelled early to meet up with the bride at a nearby hotel, The Globe. The spirit of the bridal party was a delight to be around as they had fun chatting about the upcoming day.

It’s always a nice feeling when I walk into a room and see the bridal party just having fun. One of the best bits of doing wedding photography.

Onto the Saxon Mill, upon arriving at the venue something special was about to unfold. The groom announced that this wasn’t going to be your typical wedding ceremony, and boy did they deliver on this!

Upon entry of the bridesmaids and flower girls, disco music blasted through the ceremony room to get everyone on their feet to dance and celebrate as they, and the bride, walked down the aisle. Such a fantastic moment for the guests to enjoy.

Another thing that surprised everyone was the fact that Natasha and Matt have spent the last 18 months learning a dance routine for their wedding dance. With help from a choreographer, the bride and groom smashed it!!

Fantastic day all round and the guests had a ball!

Congratulations to Natasha and Matt, Mr And Mrs Ely! I wish you both all the best for your future together.

The Davies Family

It was lovely meeting up with Loren & Mark, Mr & Mrs Davies, again after photographing their wedding last year at Maes Manor in Blackwood.

This time it was for a lovely family photo shoot with their beautiful daughters at the very picturesque Cosmeston Lakes in Sully, Cardiff.

Memories to cherish forever….

Thank you both for using me, it’s been lovely meeting you all again.

Mr & Mrs Taylor

Saturday 10th June, 2017, was a special day for Sophie and Richard who got married at a beautiful church in Neath, St Catherine’s.

Sophie was in great spirits as I met her early in the morning, with her bridesmaids Jemima and Imogen. A very nice relaxing atmosphere filled with fun conversation and laughs really did set the mood of the day for this wedding.

Sophie looked stunning in her dress and veil and really got Richard smiling as she walked down the isle.

It had been raining heavily on the day, but luck was certainly on our side, as when the couple were leaving the church we were fortunate to have dry weather which allowed for a great confetti opportunity.

The couple resided to the picturesque venue in Neath called the Glyn Clydach Hotel.

It’s fair to say that the newlyweds were smiling all day with their guests and had a gorgeous wedding with fantastic memories to cherish forever.

All the best to Mr & Mrs Taylor!

Mr & Mrs Bundy

Emma and Andrew Bundy got married on Saturday 3rd of June 2017 at the picturesque church in Pentre, St Peters Parish Church.

During the morning period, little rain showers couldn’t dampen the spirits of the couple as they both were eager to get the ceremony underway.

Emma left her home, in Treorchy, in a stretch limo which included a little tour of upper Rhondda before heading to the church, while Andrew arrived in style in a Ford Cortina. His passion for cars was the catalyst for this decision.

Upon having a beautiful wedding ceremony the couple travelled to their wedding reception venue. As the weather was glorious for us in the early evening, we were able to utilise the gorgeous scenery at The Bwlch Mountain in the Rhondda.

I think you’ll all agree with me in saying how wonderful end elegant the bride looked in her dress and how handsome the groom looked in his suit.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Bundy! I wish you well for the future.

Mr & Mrs Rosser

After what had been an epic thunder and lightning show on the morning of Saturday 27th May 2017, I was very much looking forward to meeting up with Keelee at 6:15am to start the preparations for her wedding day.

The fun loving couple got married at the beautiful church of St Johns in Cymmer, Rhondda, with their close family and friends.

The ceremony was a clear testitment to how much the couple love each other.

Craig, smiling from ear to ear as his gorgeous bride walked down the aisle with her father, Gerald, was very much feeling the emotions before this moment arrived. I managed to have a brief conversation with him and you could tell he was extremely looking forward to seeing his bride for the first time on the day.

After the ceremony, the couple arrived in style in a beautiful Beauford Open Tourer at their venue for the rest of the day and evening, Ty Newydd Country Hotel.

The hotel is set in breath taking surroundings just on the outskirts of Hirwaun.

Luckily, the weather was on our side after the rain of the morning had passed, it allowed us to have pictures in the gardens at the venue.

I think you’ll all agree at how wonderful the bride looks and how dashing the groom also looks in the pictures below.

I can’t thank Keelee and Craig, Mr & Mrs Rosser, enough for their generosity on the day and also how willing they were to do anything with me to get the right images! It’s always a pleasure working with people who are up for fun.

Congratulations both, I wish you all the best for your future as a happy couple.

Miriam & Jon at Southerdown

On Saturday 20th May, I had the pleasure of photographing the newly engaged couple, Miriam & Jon at the beautiful beach location of Southerndown.

We’d been planning to do this since the beginning of the year but unfortunately the Welsh weather kept raining and stopping our plans! Luckily on this day, the weather was actually a big help for some of the gorgeous pictures of the couple.

Upon arriving, my first question to both Miriam & Jon was “do you like having pictures taken?”. Each replied that they didn’t. Sometimes, I find this helps because nervous laughter can actually make for some really loving and cute photos.

I had great fun with them both around the beautiful gardens and beach area that southerdown has to offer.

I wish you both all the best in your new journey to now become husband and wife.

Mr & Mrs Goatson

On Sunday, 20th November, at Oxwich Bay Hotel in the Gower, Swansea, seen the happy bride and groom, Sarah & Liam, tie the knot in front of all their friends.

Sarah, who I’ve known since primary school, was very relaxed in the lead up to her special moment, helped by the loving nature and fun personalities of her bridesmaids, Lauren (her sister), Hannah and Amy.

The morning just flowed, plenty of fun and laughter until roughly about an hour before the wedding was due to start, then excited nerves started to kick in.

The boys on the other hand were also very calm throughout the morning, with Liam enjoying his time with his father and best men in a nearby room.

Oxwich Bay hosts some beautiful views, the couple were very lucky that on the day itself the weather was perfect. In the build up to the day the rain had been heavy but luckily as the sun came up the clouds started to disappear which allowed for some lovely pictures on the beach from the hotel.

As the main event started to edge near, it was the perfect time to capture some emotional moments with Sarah. You could see she was getting nervous but also excited to see Liam, the man of her dream.

Sarah looked gorgeous in her dress, and I’m sure you’ll all agree.

Liam also looked handsome in his suit. If you could only capture a glimpse of how happy they both make each other then you’d see that they are both made for each other.

Onto the ceremony, Liam’s nerves started to kick in more as the door finally opened, allowing his bride to glow as she walked down the aisle.

The ceremony, as I expected, went with plenty of emotion and laughter. It was such a special occasion to be photographing this moment of their lives.

After the ceremony was over, it was time for some fun on the beach with the newly weds, and they delivered in style! Constantly smiling and laughing which is always lovely to see on people’s wedding day.

The best men’s speeches were also well received, especially with “The Roasting of Goatson” speech. It truly delivered before ending it with a lovely video montage of the happy couple.

I really can’t thank Mr & Mrs Goatson enough for allowing me to capture their wedding day. It was a truly remarkable experience and one that I will treasure for a long time. So thank you once again!

Mr & Mrs Williams

Owen & Aimée celebrated their wedding at the beautiful wedding venue Ty Glyn in Cilau Aeron, near Aberaeron on Saturday 29th October.

From the moment I arrived I knew this was going to be a special day. Aimée was very excited and so were her bridesmaids, Sioned, Cara and Claire. It’s always a lovely moment when you walk into the room where the bridal party is and they’re happily having fun.

The happy couple organised a football themed wedding which was very well executed. The invites to the wedding were actual match tickets. I thought this was a superb idea and totally different to what you would normally find.

Owen, the groom, is a huge football fan, And specifically an avid Wales football fan who follows the national team home and abroad.

The table plan, featured the Welsh heroes from the Euro team that played out in France.

The ceremony was a beautiful occasion which was presented in both Welsh and English. A very nice touch as the majority of the guests were Welsh speaking.

As the beautiful bridesmaids walked down the aisle, Owen was eagerly anticipating seeing his bride enter the room, and upon the first sight a glowing smile came across his face and a pure shot of emotion struck him, it’s always a joy to see this special moment in the ceremony.

The speeches made for an emotional moment of the day but also filled with laughter. Owen and Aimée’s dad both gave beautiful speeches regarding their son and daughter and the best men, Gaz and Huw had people laughing from the start.

The venue, Ty Glyn, boasts some lovely views in typical Welsh fashion of hills and green scenery. It really made for some fantastic photo opportunities around the grounds of the venue. I have to say, it’s always pleasing when I get a chance to work with bride and grooms like Owen and Aimée who were so easy going to photograph all day and were happy to do anything I asked for. It really has made for some striking images.

I really hope the new Mr & Mrs Williams enjoyed their day and continue to enjoy their lives together.
