Mr & Mrs Wilson

On Saturday 12th of August 2017, Johanna & Darren celebrated their marriage at the picturesque venue Oxwich Bay Hotel situated in the Gower, Swansea.

It's one of my favourite venues in Wales due to its on beach location and superb gardens surrounding the hotel. Also, the staff at this venue is always helpful and it always seems they can't physically do enough for you.

Johanna was very relaxed upon my arrival, enjoying some bubbly with her bridesmaids, Lauren, Victoria and Georgie. It's always pleasing walking into the bridal party and seeing them all enjoy the build up to the big moment.

The ceremony was soon upon us, and what an emotional occasion this was but also filled with laughter and happy tears amongst guests.
With the bride and groom nervous of making the speeches correctly, their guests were highly entertained with Darren's humour all throughout the ceremony.

Finishing from the ceremony room, the bride and groom moved to the marquee on site for their speeches and reception. The speeches didn't disappoint!
There's always the saying "you had to be there" and this is definitely one of those.
Johanna's dad kicked off the occasion with a beautiful touching speech about his daughter and Darren. Up next was the father of the groom, who in his Northern Irish accent had people bursting in laughter. Very similar to Darren's speech.
For those that don't know Darren, he's a bit of a fun character and does an incredible impression of his wife. Upon completing his awesome speech and self made song that he sung to Johanna, he placed a blonde curly wig in his head and pretending to be Johanna for a speech.
The guests were roaring from start to finish!

Darren's best man, who is also his son, Kian, said some emotional words welcoming Johanna into the family and the acceptance of being an awesome step mum to Georgie and himself. It was a very moving speech.

I can't thank the happy couple enough on booking me to do their wedding photography.

Luckily, the Milky Way was prominent in the sky and I asked them both to join me on the beach at 10.30pm. It was a little bit cold but they both agreed and I'm so glad they did as the image is truly breathtaking. You can find it posted below.

All the best Mr and Mrs Wilson for your future together.

Mr & Mrs Bates

Saturday 29th July was a beautiful occasion for the newlyweds, Beverley and Daniel.
The couple got married at the beautiful Rhondda church, St Peters before moving onto the bwlch mountain for pictures.
Upon arriving early in the morning, I knew it was going to be a fun filled day. Beverley was very relaxed surrounded by her bridesmaids, although their healthy obsession with pringles was clear to see haha!
At the church, I met a very nervous Groom, looking very smart in his grey suit. You could see the emotion on his face waiting in anticipation to see his stunning bride.
I think everyone gets a bit emotional on their wedding day, it's surprising how much it just hits you when you prepare for your big day.

I really hope the bride and groom enjoyed their day, it was an honour to work for them throughout the day and photograph their special day!

I wish you both all the best!

Mr & Mrs Jones

On Saturday 22nd July 2017, Gareth and Anita married at the beautiful Countryman Inn near Pontyclun. This venue is a new one for myself which to get to you have to travel through some beautiful country lanes before reaching the destination.
It's a venue that doesn't disappoint! It has such beautiful scenery surrounding the area and also boasts some beautiful fishing lakes.

The Bride and Groom got married surrounded by their close friends and family at the venue. It was a lovely relaxing day for the happy couple who both looked stunning in their wedding attire.

I wish Gareth & Anita all the best of luck for their new marriage and hope they have a happy life together.

Taylor-Dee & Kris

Sunday 2nd July, 2017, saw Taylor-Dee and Kristian tie the knot at the beautiful Glen-Yr-Afon hotel in Usk.

It was a pleasure to be  able to photograph this event as I have previously worked with Taylor, and it was nice to be able to be a big part of her special day.

The connection between the bride & groom is always plain to see and some emotional words from Kris during his speech captured those feelings towards Taylor and their families.

The venue had been decorated to Taylor’s perfection! She is very creative at this type of thing and it really made this wedding personal.

Thank you so much both for using intotheheartphotography.com!

I wish you both all the best for your future

Bluebirds Forever

Saturday 1st of July, 2017, was an incredible day for two Cardiff City football fans, Mike and Bethan, who married at St Illtud Church in Llantwit Fadre before moving onto the Cardiff City Stadium for their reception.

Bethan, who had her bridal party preparations at Shabby Chic in Talbot Green, is a good friend of mine from our time over the years following Wales in football home and away. It was a pleasure to photograph Mike and Bethan’s  wedding day.

The happy couple were allowed to utilise the stadium for images on the day which really allowed us to be creative. I’d really like to thank the staff at the stadium for all their help on the day.

Mike & Bethan, I wish you a fantastic life together and many happy seasons supporting the bluebirds!

Mr & Mrs Ely

Set in the beautiful town of Warwick is a beautiful and picturesque venue called Saxon Mill. This was the perfect location for Matthew and Natasha to have their wedding after getting engaged here some few years ago.

On Saturday 24th June, 2017, I travelled early to meet up with the bride at a nearby hotel, The Globe. The spirit of the bridal party was a delight to be around as they had fun chatting about the upcoming day.

It’s always a nice feeling when I walk into a room and see the bridal party just having fun. One of the best bits of doing wedding photography.

Onto the Saxon Mill, upon arriving at the venue something special was about to unfold. The groom announced that this wasn’t going to be your typical wedding ceremony, and boy did they deliver on this!

Upon entry of the bridesmaids and flower girls, disco music blasted through the ceremony room to get everyone on their feet to dance and celebrate as they, and the bride, walked down the aisle. Such a fantastic moment for the guests to enjoy.

Another thing that surprised everyone was the fact that Natasha and Matt have spent the last 18 months learning a dance routine for their wedding dance. With help from a choreographer, the bride and groom smashed it!!

Fantastic day all round and the guests had a ball!

Congratulations to Natasha and Matt, Mr And Mrs Ely! I wish you both all the best for your future together.

The Davies Family

It was lovely meeting up with Loren & Mark, Mr & Mrs Davies, again after photographing their wedding last year at Maes Manor in Blackwood.

This time it was for a lovely family photo shoot with their beautiful daughters at the very picturesque Cosmeston Lakes in Sully, Cardiff.

Memories to cherish forever….

Thank you both for using me, it’s been lovely meeting you all again.

Mr & Mrs Taylor

Saturday 10th June, 2017, was a special day for Sophie and Richard who got married at a beautiful church in Neath, St Catherine’s.

Sophie was in great spirits as I met her early in the morning, with her bridesmaids Jemima and Imogen. A very nice relaxing atmosphere filled with fun conversation and laughs really did set the mood of the day for this wedding.

Sophie looked stunning in her dress and veil and really got Richard smiling as she walked down the isle.

It had been raining heavily on the day, but luck was certainly on our side, as when the couple were leaving the church we were fortunate to have dry weather which allowed for a great confetti opportunity.

The couple resided to the picturesque venue in Neath called the Glyn Clydach Hotel.

It’s fair to say that the newlyweds were smiling all day with their guests and had a gorgeous wedding with fantastic memories to cherish forever.

All the best to Mr & Mrs Taylor!

Mr & Mrs Bundy

Emma and Andrew Bundy got married on Saturday 3rd of June 2017 at the picturesque church in Pentre, St Peters Parish Church.

During the morning period, little rain showers couldn’t dampen the spirits of the couple as they both were eager to get the ceremony underway.

Emma left her home, in Treorchy, in a stretch limo which included a little tour of upper Rhondda before heading to the church, while Andrew arrived in style in a Ford Cortina. His passion for cars was the catalyst for this decision.

Upon having a beautiful wedding ceremony the couple travelled to their wedding reception venue. As the weather was glorious for us in the early evening, we were able to utilise the gorgeous scenery at The Bwlch Mountain in the Rhondda.

I think you’ll all agree with me in saying how wonderful end elegant the bride looked in her dress and how handsome the groom looked in his suit.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Bundy! I wish you well for the future.

Mr & Mrs Rosser

After what had been an epic thunder and lightning show on the morning of Saturday 27th May 2017, I was very much looking forward to meeting up with Keelee at 6:15am to start the preparations for her wedding day.

The fun loving couple got married at the beautiful church of St Johns in Cymmer, Rhondda, with their close family and friends.

The ceremony was a clear testitment to how much the couple love each other.

Craig, smiling from ear to ear as his gorgeous bride walked down the aisle with her father, Gerald, was very much feeling the emotions before this moment arrived. I managed to have a brief conversation with him and you could tell he was extremely looking forward to seeing his bride for the first time on the day.

After the ceremony, the couple arrived in style in a beautiful Beauford Open Tourer at their venue for the rest of the day and evening, Ty Newydd Country Hotel.

The hotel is set in breath taking surroundings just on the outskirts of Hirwaun.

Luckily, the weather was on our side after the rain of the morning had passed, it allowed us to have pictures in the gardens at the venue.

I think you’ll all agree at how wonderful the bride looks and how dashing the groom also looks in the pictures below.

I can’t thank Keelee and Craig, Mr & Mrs Rosser, enough for their generosity on the day and also how willing they were to do anything with me to get the right images! It’s always a pleasure working with people who are up for fun.

Congratulations both, I wish you all the best for your future as a happy couple.
