Mr & Mrs Stickler

While the country is having a heat wave, it really helped to keep everyone’s spirits up for the wedding of Sarah and Gareth at New House Country Hotel, Cardiff. The bride and groom, only from a few miles away in Llanishen, decided to wed at one of Wales’ best places for a view on your wedding day. This gorgeous hotel boasts the whole view of Cardiff and it’s bay. The wedding was a superb occasion for everyone who attended and such a wonderful atmosphere all day as the sun kissed on us all. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Stickler!

Mr & Mrs Thomas

In the build up to Saturday 3rd of March, Britain’s good old fashioned weather decided to take a turn for the worse with snow that’s not been seen in South Wales since the early 80’s. Weather experts calling it “The Beast From The East” and “Storm Emma” played a huge part in the preparations for this wedding.

This storm, however, was never going to stop Roxanne & Aaron from becoming Mr & Mrs Thomas. With help from family, friends and the community this wedding was given the green light thanks to the countless number of volunteers who swept snow away from roads, cleared the paths for the church and local businesses taxiing people in 4×4’s.

All of the wedding suppliers battled the conditions to help out this determined bride and groom, and this helped to deliver the perfect wedding.

Roxanne married her partner, Aaron, after being with each other for 11 years in Clydach, Rhondda.

It’s fair to say how beautiful Rox looked in her dress while Aaron looked very handsome in his suit.

This will certainly be a memorable white wedding for the happy couple.

Special thanks for booking my services

Kristina And Tomos

Really loved meeting Kristina and Tomos for their engagement shoot at Caerphilly Castle. Below is a snippet of the shoot.

The couple had previously got engaged in the big apple, New York in 2017.

You can instantly tell how much these two are into each from the way they laugh at one another, it’s always pleasing to see when photographing a couple as this usually tends to set the tone for the Photoshoot.

I wish Kristina and Tomos every success in organising their wedding, thank you for using Into The Heart Photography for your engagement pictures.

Mr & Mrs Davies at Rose Dew Farm

Congratulations to Delyth Rogers and Michael Davies who got married on Saturday 16th September.

The Rhondda coupled shared their special day with their family and friends in the beautiful surroundings of Rose Dew Farm, Llantwit Major. This is a beautiful venue surrounded by lush green fields and with the beach a short 2 minute drive away, it is one of the best venues that South Wales has to offer.

The couple are old school friends of mine and they had met some 15 years previous to this wedding, and have a little charming son called Hudson. He looked dapper in his wedding clobber on the day.

I really can’t thank Mr & Mrs Davies enough for using myself to photograph their wedding. I wish them all the best for their future together.

Delyth & Michael

It was lovely to meet up with Delyth and Michael for their engagement shoot at the Rhigos Mountain in the Rhondda Valley. Having been a friend of both for so long i’m very excited for their upcoming wedding on September 16th 2017 at Rose Dew Farm in Llantwit Major.

Upon arriving up the Rhigos, in typical Welsh style, the weather changed instantly with fog, but in my opinion this really helped to make the images look slightly different and give them a nice mood to the background. Of course, we can’t expect nice weather in August on a mountain in the valleys in Wales can we??

Thank you both for choosing myself to capture your wedding day in a few weeks time, i really can’t wait!

Mr & Mrs Wilson

On Saturday 12th of August 2017, Johanna & Darren celebrated their marriage at the picturesque venue Oxwich Bay Hotel situated in the Gower, Swansea.

It's one of my favourite venues in Wales due to its on beach location and superb gardens surrounding the hotel. Also, the staff at this venue is always helpful and it always seems they can't physically do enough for you.

Johanna was very relaxed upon my arrival, enjoying some bubbly with her bridesmaids, Lauren, Victoria and Georgie. It's always pleasing walking into the bridal party and seeing them all enjoy the build up to the big moment.

The ceremony was soon upon us, and what an emotional occasion this was but also filled with laughter and happy tears amongst guests.
With the bride and groom nervous of making the speeches correctly, their guests were highly entertained with Darren's humour all throughout the ceremony.

Finishing from the ceremony room, the bride and groom moved to the marquee on site for their speeches and reception. The speeches didn't disappoint!
There's always the saying "you had to be there" and this is definitely one of those.
Johanna's dad kicked off the occasion with a beautiful touching speech about his daughter and Darren. Up next was the father of the groom, who in his Northern Irish accent had people bursting in laughter. Very similar to Darren's speech.
For those that don't know Darren, he's a bit of a fun character and does an incredible impression of his wife. Upon completing his awesome speech and self made song that he sung to Johanna, he placed a blonde curly wig in his head and pretending to be Johanna for a speech.
The guests were roaring from start to finish!

Darren's best man, who is also his son, Kian, said some emotional words welcoming Johanna into the family and the acceptance of being an awesome step mum to Georgie and himself. It was a very moving speech.

I can't thank the happy couple enough on booking me to do their wedding photography.

Luckily, the Milky Way was prominent in the sky and I asked them both to join me on the beach at 10.30pm. It was a little bit cold but they both agreed and I'm so glad they did as the image is truly breathtaking. You can find it posted below.

All the best Mr and Mrs Wilson for your future together.

Mr & Mrs Bates

Saturday 29th July was a beautiful occasion for the newlyweds, Beverley and Daniel.
The couple got married at the beautiful Rhondda church, St Peters before moving onto the bwlch mountain for pictures.
Upon arriving early in the morning, I knew it was going to be a fun filled day. Beverley was very relaxed surrounded by her bridesmaids, although their healthy obsession with pringles was clear to see haha!
At the church, I met a very nervous Groom, looking very smart in his grey suit. You could see the emotion on his face waiting in anticipation to see his stunning bride.
I think everyone gets a bit emotional on their wedding day, it's surprising how much it just hits you when you prepare for your big day.

I really hope the bride and groom enjoyed their day, it was an honour to work for them throughout the day and photograph their special day!

I wish you both all the best!

Mr & Mrs Jones

On Saturday 22nd July 2017, Gareth and Anita married at the beautiful Countryman Inn near Pontyclun. This venue is a new one for myself which to get to you have to travel through some beautiful country lanes before reaching the destination.
It's a venue that doesn't disappoint! It has such beautiful scenery surrounding the area and also boasts some beautiful fishing lakes.

The Bride and Groom got married surrounded by their close friends and family at the venue. It was a lovely relaxing day for the happy couple who both looked stunning in their wedding attire.

I wish Gareth & Anita all the best of luck for their new marriage and hope they have a happy life together.
